New Models Enter The Museum

It is worthy to note that not every item donated to The Helicopter Museum is in pristine condition. Many items are long lost treasures that have been squirreled away in lofts and garages for years if not decades...if not longer. This means that a number of processes must first be completed before items can enter The Museum collection. This is not purely for the conservation needs of the items in question but also to ensure no damage is done to existing items at The Museum through contamination.

A prime example of this process was employed just the other day when a new batch of company production models came through The Museum's doors. As you can see above, some of the models looked in a particularly un-loved state; but after some elbow grease, anti-bacterial cleaner, a conservation vacuum cleaner and some pest traps, the models should be in good enough condition to put on display in the next few weeks.
